feather carbon?

looking at replacing the factory hood with a carbon fiber one. I see quad tech doesn't make them. The quad tech ones on e-bay are way over priced for me. Went to the feather carbon website and say they sellem for 90. Anyone have one? like it or hate it? Where can you get the billet grilles?

Yes it is . I have seen the short one and I think it is butt ugly. That is just my opinion though. But then again. On thier web site they call mine the BIG UGLY.lol It is all in a matter of personal taste.

i could never get hold of feather carbon after my initial conversation with them , no replies on phone or e mail . pretty dissapointed in them and ended up not bothering :(

The Feathercarbon man dont live but about a hour from me, havent been in contact with him in awhile, but, I have a red one like fast250r has & a flat hood, black in color I will do a deal on.

Fast, that hood you got is the big ugly, & not being disrespectfull or anything, but when your wife is sitting on that R, aint nobody looking at that hood, your R does look good though, what you can see of it.

yeah i got the big ugly on mine too cabon & blue color... it lokks almost black. i would like a billit insert if they have one.

i have his tank cover on my 400ex...it is sweet...top quality work...he does this on the side as i think he is in the service(air force if i remember correctly) and this is why he is hard to reach at times...
