quadtech hood

I recently took my quadtech hood off of my 04 and was going to put it on my 06. but when I hold it up to it, it does not look like it fits right. Is there any difference in the hoods, just want to make sure there the same before I start cutting the tabs off.

the hood on my 07R is off an 05, and it worked, i cut the mounts off and drilled the holes, then drilled 2 up top
