Just wondering if anyone has had their headpipe ceramic coated by this company www.jet-hot.com or any other company for that matter. I'm thinking about sending the head pipe off the Raptor and 400ex to them. Ceramic coating looks cool and I believe it helps with temperature... any good/bad about this company or a better one to send the head pipes to? Jet-Hot charges something like $12.00 a ft. So probably about $30 for one headpipe.

heard nothin but good stuff about jet hot.............send your stuff. It does help on the radiated temp of the pipe,,,,,,,,,and seals the pipe from corrosion

Yes i have the stuff to do it..

....no sorry i wont do it anymore ,,cept for my self.
The kind i have is harder to apply cause it is a liquid,,,,and then had to be buffed to a shine and to be done correctly needs a vibratory polisher, besides in prep time, application, bake out time,ect........its not worth $30 to me to do it. Send it to jethot;)

see...there is no way i will give my time away like that.........heck 15bucks pays for about 15 minutes of my time......and that doesnt include any materials. Exactly why i am not doing anymore powdercoating:rolleyes:

its not worth the time away from my kids.......or even giving up my riding time anymore:blah :p

Chad is right. I got mine done at Jet Hot and it was about $100 or so. They charge as much for our headpipes as they do a complete set of headers! Go figure. Anyway, I like mine!
