Here are also some pics of my '68 Firebird that I had before my Charger. It was totaled in a one car accident 8 years ago. Myself, my brother, and a friend of ours were all in the car at the time. Luckily, we all walked away from it. Definietly had someone looking out for us!

Both the cars were mine. My Dad, bro, and I restored the Firebird from the ground up, and I cried and cried after it was totaled. Luckily no one was seriously hurt. My bro had to spend the night in the hospital, but nothing too serious. The Charger has a 383 Magnum, TorqFlite 727 trans. The Firebird had 250 c.i. OHC 6 in it with the Sprint manifold and a 3 spd manual trans.

Nice car. Too bad about the 69. I like the old firebirds. Here is a pic of my truck.

I honestly don't know how I walked away (I was driving it). All i got was a tiny cut on my hand from the staples on the telephone pole that it was wrapped around and a bruise on my thigh from the door panel and steering wheel. It was a miracle.

So have you taken the charger to any shows lately? Have you ever taken it to the James Dean fest, i've never got a chance to make it over there. Any luck with it there if you took it? :bandit:

Thanks for the replies. I haven't taken it to any for a lil while now cuz i kinda got bored with car shows and usually spent my weekends riding, but I might hit up some this summer. I have been to the James Dean Run several times, but never entered this car in it. The "before" pics of my Firebird were taken at James Dean actually.

Awesome Z. I have an '02 Maxima 6spd as a daily driver. Anything else done to it besides the wheels?

Just the wheels and a few custom painted pieces (headlight housing, underengine covers). Whenever I get the extra money I would like to get a catback. I hope to get a Turbonetics single turbo kit for it when I get out of school.

My dad and I also have an '85 300ZX NT for a father/son project. It's a rust bucket, but it runs, has less than less than 100k oringinal miles, and we got it cheap.

Here's the paint I picked up for it. House of Kolor Meteor Maroon.

And here's some of the area of the drivers side floor pan that I have to replace.

I've always liked the 240/260/280/300Z's. Looks like a fun project!

Hey Steven, I always cringe when I see that picture of the Firebird. It amazing that header didn't get bent in half with the rest of the car. We need to hit up the badlands soon. ttyl.
