I have a 86 trx 250R im rebuilding. This will be a very long rebuild do to the fact I can't buy everything at once or even in 2 years (lol). My main goal for right now is to be able to ride it and enjoy the changes I make.

I have about $300 dollars I would like to put into it right now. Im looking to a wider axle do to me uprading already to LSR +3 racing a-arms. what's a good axle to do this with and what size. I'm planning on using the stock swingarm hopefully. And what about barring housings. Do I need to replace this or can I use the stock one.

The stock swinger and bearing carrier will work just fine. A LSR or Dura Blue axle will work just fine. They are both adjustable and come with a lifetime warranty.

If you buy a durablue, you will probably be taking advantage of that warranty. They break alot. Spend a little extra money, and get an LSR, or RPM dominator. You can get a used one for around 200 dollars or so. New ones will run you just over 400.
