I want to put in some brighter white PIAA bulbs instead of my stock ones, which model do they take? thanks...

I bought the PIAA superwhite bulbs for my 2004 YFZ which had untinted lenses. The PIAA bulbs have a blue tint.

I've notice on newer model year YFZs, the head light lenses seem to have the blue tint that the PIAA bulbs do. My guess is, your lenses already give you the advantage these PIAA bulbs are supposed to, so don't buy them.

I've always wondered if you put higher wattage bulbs in there, would you get brighter lighting at high RPMs, but dimmer lighting at lower RPMs?

I think the PIAA bulbs we ran are H6M's.

They are suposed to put out the same light as a 50 watt bulb while pulling the same as a 35 watt bulb. In other words be brighter without over taxing your electrical system. We ran them in a 6 hour night race and they did alright. Certainly no HID but ok.

I currently have a PIAA H6M mounted in my right headlight and the stock bulb in the left. The H6M emits a cleaner looking light, but it hardly makes a difference.

Ricky Stator offers bulbs like these for $9 each while the PIAA bulbs are $28.
