has anyone swapped the reverse knob off a 05-07 for something aftermarket?

I am rebuilding a 05 that was trashed and stripped out and it needs the reverse knob and cable so I was thinking of putting the key switch in the hole for the reverse knob and trying to find some kind of aftermarket barmount lever.
Help me out guys!!!!!(or gals).

It's for the LTZ400 but, you might be able to make it work.
