I was wondering if anyone has modified their stock wiring harness on the 04 model. i would like to but i am not sure how or how much trouble it is.

will someone let me know if it is worth the headache to do this.

Modify it for what reason, get rid of what is needed for lights or to add something else?

i wanted to get rid of anything that i do not need anymore like lights, brake light, etc.

the only thing i have on there is a fan, and kill switch.

JH racing did mine like 2 years ago for about $30. Still working great.

is the carb heater what thoes wires running to the carb are? If so im ripping them succers off asap! them are robbing power. lol.

I went over mine, took the lighting stuff off. and ran the wires for the voltagae reguator to the front of my quad instead of the rear.

but for 30$, im thinking of having it done by somone that knows what all the wires do.

our carbs have 2 sets of wires the heater and the throttle position sensor....
the reason I don't have them is I have changed to an edelbrock carb..
