How much would it cost to have a 250x bored over .020 and how much would it be to have it ported and polished and a valve job? I am going to rebuild the motor and want it to have a little bit more power. I am only 14 and dont have much money. Any ideas would be a great help.

About 350 i think, that's about what the price quote said for my 400, but i have two exhaust ports.

250x also has two exhuast ports..(they just run into one pipe).

If you do the work yourself you will get by with about $250 to $300.

If you have a none dealer shop do it I would expect $350 to $500.

the 250x only has 1 exhaust port but 2 exhaust valves. so it would be about 300 to 500 for the bore port and polish and a vlave job.

Hell, I'm sorry I just looked at the post by Colby (C&D Racing)

$175 for the port and polish and $65 for a 3 angle valve job

where could i get a port and polish at? there is no local mechanic shops here just dealers.
