are you sure you can run pump gas on the 12:1 nmotion kit???

and if you go with a big cam be sure to degree it and shortened valve guides and springs..

nmotion does superior head work I would consult them

I've heard mixed reviews on nMotion port work....actually, its mostly been :( .

You will be just fine on pump gas with 12:1.

as for needing new springs and a CDi, you dont need them. yes it would be better if you got the Cdi and for sprind you dont have to unless you got a big cam. Then i suggest you get new vavles and springs. a friend of mine built a 520. He had just about everything done and he beat 409 banshees. it was quick. you will like it for draging. If you get a cam. get the Web cams Mysto cam. And get everything done. in the end it is amazing.

was his 520 ported? so new valves and springs and cdi isnt needed, but a cam is correct?

thanks

Who should i buy the 520cc big bore from trinity or nmotion? who would be one of the best company to do my port job?

The actual nMotion big bore kit is rather nice...but I've heard many horror stories about their porting.

If It were my head, I would send it to DASA, RAGE, ATP, WPP Racing, or Rossier for the port work.

But those are just my personal preferences. Do some research, and see who sounds the best to you.

Should I stick with the Nmotion exhaust also?

The nMotion exhaust isn't bad. But there are others out there that will outperform it.

I believe your money would be better spent on an exhaust system such as Rossier, DASA, RAGE, Ron Woods, Yoshimura, or ESR.

Again, do some searching and see what will work best with YOUR application.

the trinity and nmotion cylinders are the same exact cylinder..
they cut a deal nmotion sells their cheetah cylinders and trinity sells their 520 cylinders.

on trinitys site they show mitch canepa winning bitd with his 520 he is a good friend of mine.
I had the 520 with +2,+3 valves mysto cam (you must degree that cam) it is the best cam I feel. but I used fmf factory 4 exhaust. and a dyna ignition..
now I run an 06 I had a duncan 480 on it but blew it now back to 450

I never dynoed..Yes my head was ported.. I actually ended up blowing 2 520 kits. both times were piston hitting valves.
this kit was a torque monster. I also used both the stock carb and the edelbrock..
the edelbrock seemed to be better

the edelbrock seemed to be better hey man! i just got the edelbrock carb for the 450. and going to run on 500 bore kit. i dont have the 500 kit yet. need just alittle bit more money. i was just wondering if you did use the main jets that came with the carb on your 520 kit or did you get the bigger main jets that edelbrock offers? thanks man.

the ones with the carb are good. depending on other things you have done to help flow... also I didn't put it on a dyno so I don't know if I was running a little lean or not.. there were no signes of it on the plug or performance.

some one else I talked to that had the 520 kit said they did an air mixture test. and they were just a hair lean on the very top.

thanks man every little bit of info helps. 520 is alittle bit more cc's then im going so ill probably be alright. im just going to port match my head my self not going all out with the head porting. gets alittle expensive when you start going real far in it. its costing me $1800 already. thanks again man:cool:
