i came across that yesterday. i would of thought that tim farr would of had a narrow frame and a cr500 link also, it could be though i guess but i just didn't think it was farrs

I've always wondered where he gets his quads to part out. They are always aftermarket framed and pretty "low hours".

Anybody have all the Huevos videos to confirm he used it in any of them?

I think he would have used a narrow frame and cr500 link also. Maybe this was just a bike built for the movie "huevos" and almost very ridden after the filming.

I think he is the cash paid for aftermarket 250Rs guy. I bought a frame off him, had no problems at all with it it. Everything went real smooth and the frame is in very nice shape.

That frame could be one of Farr's, who knows. I do know Farr use to run a stock link Laegers frame in the Nationals around 1999, then started running a Laegers frame with CR500 link and wide front frame rails. Most of the pros started running this setup, over the narrow front end CR500 link. I tried to find one of those frames, finally got sick of looking and just converted my stock replacment Laegers to a CR500 link.

i was thinking that was him too. i didn't have any problems with him but one, which i never said anything to him about it because i got a deal and used stuff is, well ... used. my laeger swingarm i got off of him came with a lsr carrier and the linkage also. well the pictures never showed the bottom of it but there was a huge dent (took a 2 inch hole bit to get out) in the bottom of it. this didn't allow the carrier to come out of the swingarm without cutting out the dent. i had a reinforcement made to cover up the hole so its like nothing happened, just a pain for the guy i had do it. this isn't a buyer beware at all but just remember that stuff like this happens buying used parts:D

That was the bike from the video, but I don't know if Tim actually raced it or not. I have bought several parts from this guy and so far, so good. As mentioned he moves a lot of nice 250R parts.

I have been trying to figure out his Ebay secret, I sell stuff all the time on there and his stuff always goes for more than I get. He must have a bunch of buds bidding stuff up.

i think its always funny whenever people do that. i have a trick to tell if its a local buddy, they have to be active on ebay though. if its not a private auction, you can view the other people bidding on it and then view their feedback, if they sold anything recently you'll be able to see their location. of course local people bid on auctions but sometimes it seems fishy...

I've bought parts from this guy too and I'd have to say he has always been honest and shipped the parts out fast. I'd just like to know where he finds so many nice aftermarket R's to part out. He must have some good connections with some of the pro racers.

that is the "cash paid for 250rs" guy.. he just buys a bunch of 250rs cheap and parts them out. if anyone has a built R they want to get rid of in a hurry, he buys them no questions asked with cash.. its a quick sell then he parts them out. he buys them kinda cheap though, he was gonna give me 4600 for mine.. then the motor blew up, i pulled the motor out and got 4000 for the rolling chassis on ebay

it looks like the one he rode in huevos 4. i would think he would run a narrow front end as well.
