I am not sure why or if this is on every Honda 400EX but my clutch is freaking hard as hell to pull in ... and at the end of the day nearly impossible.

I had a broken left wrist a while back and it gets tired faster than usual. i rode my friend YZF and his clutch is very light compared to my.

i know they have these easy pull clutch systems or levers that reduce the force needed to pull the clutch.
any one have any experience with them?
do they really work?
which one would you reccomend?

thanks

Spend $15 and replace the cable. They get old, dirty, and sometimes pinched. Get a new one and you will be much happier.

Temporarily try spraying some lube down through the cable. Keep working it as your spraying it down.

I have a Terry Cable clutch cable and a ASV lever and it's just as easy to pull in as a Z400's is.

sometimes a worn out lever can make the clutch pull in prety hard.
