need information for available new 4 stroke motors for
250R frames.
I prefer to use new motors (insead of used motors)for 250R
rebuilds.
If replacment motors are available for purchase who has them?
(Don't confuse this message with previous message for 2 strokes)
[this is not for 250EX frames!]

Please take these questions/request to the hybrid forum:) . You will most likely get more answers in there.

New Four-stroke motors don't really fit in 250r frames. You'd have to get a hybrid frame like LSR Walsh or possibly a few old Laegers.

a yz426/450f fits, many of the 4 stroke motors won't fit. they are too tall for the frame.

Any of the dual cam four strokes will fit, yfz, rmz, or kfx, you can use either the 250's or the 450's, KOQ racing does these conversions all the time. The single cam motors are too tall for the stock frame. If you look in the back of dirt wheels mag, there is a guy that sells new motors.

Just buy one of the many aftermarket hybrid rollers, or frames on these forums and ebay. Leave all the unmolested R frames for us.
