I'm with him on this one:confused:

Its not like they can actually see it; I mean do they have satellites up their that have the ability to see billions of miles to know what will come in 20 years? Unless the aliens are warning us that it just passed by them, I don't see how we would know:macho

they can see these things. the telescopes that we have are able to see objects farther away than you would ever think. we also have telescopes up in orbit, just like satellites, that can spot these objects. its not like they take a wild guess. they actually study the objects(asteroids in this case) for months at a time to determine the exact trajectory of them.

To know these things requires a lot of math and powerful computers also... But once they know the orbit, they input that into the computer, and of course in these calculations they already know how the planets will move so they can add in the gravitational effects the planets will have on the objects path. They can do so much with orbits and whatnot, with just observing our orbit and its actions for a few years they can plot back thousands of years on how we will go around the sun with various wobbles in our orbit and how we will be effected by various gravitational pulls. This is how they plan on where to put our satellites into orbit.

who wrote this thing?...maybe it was one of those hobos that you see on the street corners with the big cardboard signs that say the world is going to end and god will smight us all. :eek2:

Those guys are insane. I once saw a sign that said "love making positions for $1"...very tempting (little off topic but it was a funny sight in NYC):D
