yeah not to mention if you watch the kid that goes 159' he's wearing a helmet and goggles, boots (i think) and gloves along with a hoodie and jeans so you can tell that he's just another kid out having fun

yeah i think he needs to go for at least 190 and get ahold of guiness and get his name in the books. and he should be sending videos of the 169' jump out to suspension, axle, and frame companies looking for sponsorships, if he could set a record using their stuff thats major promotion for the company.

hell maybe he should just try and get ahold of stunt junkies for a world record 200 foot jump and try and get on TV with it, if he can pull that off he could get damn near any sponsor he wanted.

They contacted the discovery channel and they were very interested until the realized he was under 18 years old. I believe the dirt to dirt world record is 151' so he is or will be the current world record holder. I believe a couple of the quad movie guys have made plans to film his jumps in the next couple of weeks.

thats pretty sick, but i wouldn't hesitate in trying it....as long as u can do 50ft jumps and stay stable in the air, u can do any jump and stay stable in the air

hell he should tell them that both him and his parents will sign any waiver they want to get him on there, cause as long as his parents sign it its legal.... then tell them if they wont do it he'll just contact guinuess (sp?) book of records and have them send someone out and do the world record with no major coverage.

Sick jump no doubt on both of them....but if a kid can do it why can't a pro? Like it was mentioned above, it just takes balls which we all know the top freestylers have. I have yet to see the fallout V2 but didnt someone in huevos 9 jump like 185ft 2 dirt. I mean its crazy but that kid just shows that anyone can do it with a decent setup and enough guts. Good luck to him and the others, i just cant wait to see quads in the record books@!!!

This is only what I was told so I could be mistaken but the footage in Huevos 9 is of a guy jumping down hill which is a new record but this 159' jump was on flat ground so that too is a new distance record.

Not sure about that one...although the 159' on flat would be much harder and more dangerous i still think that the distance is judged the same....

this is gonna end up turning out like the whole distance arguments with the sleds. there never was a true record set until this year because they couldnt decide on the conditions of what it should be, if it should be on flat ground (snow-snow, ramp-snow, ramp-woodchips) or if it could be down a hil/mountain (snow-hill, ramp-hill) and then finally last year someone finally did a huge ramp-snow hit at park x (dont remember who) for slednecks and its now considered the record and it was done on flat ground with a big ramp and landing just like the dirtbike guys.
