i blew up the stock motor so i bought another on ebay. I bought a new selanoid and when i go to start it the selanoid does click but the starter does not crank over. I also tried taking a screwdriver and touching the 2 leads on the selanoid but it still will not turn over but does spark. The damn thing does start right up when it is pushed started but its starting to be a pain in the but.

When you press the start button nothing happens? Just a click? May need to replace the starter.

try taping your starter with a hammer while pushing the button. If that doesn't work then make sure you have a good charge and try jumping out the cylinoid agian and if that doesn't work then it's most likely your starter or a loose wire going to your starter.

Well, if the starter on the old engine worked, and you can push start the new one, I would guess it was the starter. Just for the record, it's s-o-l-e-n-o-i-d. :blah:
