Steering Stem??

I broke my steering stem today but not completly off.. My buddy got one off his 250R and i wanted to know if it will work on my 300ex .. If not why ??

you're trying to put an item from a completly different bike on yours. That is why it won't work. There are huge differences between the two. 250r's are more similiar to a 400ex and the stem from a 250r won't even fit a 400ex or vise versa. Buy a new stem for a 300ex. Your looking for problems if your going to try to make a 250r stem work in a 300ex. The stem is a vital part in your ex, don't screw around with it.
