how much is my 250r worth?

ok, I need to sell my 1989 250R. Can someone help me out on a price. Stock Frame is perfect and has been powdercoated red. Has laeger +2 arms, jb racing swingarm. works shocks all the way around. jb crhome steering stem with stabilizer. long stroked motor that runs on 114 octane gas. t9 baha wheels with holeshots, mac case saverbillet, macs waterpump billet, full bore black fenders race cut. Overall condition is a 7 out of 10. Just looking for a ballpark figure. Your help is appreciated.

I just bought one very similar to yours. Mine has a stock steering stem but had PEP shocks and a few other goodies. I think yours is worth somewhere between $2000 and $3000 (it all depends on the buyer, location, appearance of the quad, etc.) BTW my buddy and I have bought and sold about 5 250Rs in the past year. Its a shame how much you can invest in one of these great quads and get so little back out of them. This is just my $.02 and others may differ in opinion.

Post a pic and a location. West coast 250Rs tend to be higher priced. If it's nice, it could go for $3500. If you aren't strapped I'd wait till spring and hold out for more $. 89's are the best year.

But 3K is a likely ballpark.

around here (west coast) its not uncommon to see that kind of r go for 3500-4000.... now that depends on the condition.//
