Just curious to know what upgrades you feel are necessary or at least more useful for jumping and doing other tricks. I am currently riding a 2000 400EX which is relatively stock, with the exception of tires, filter and steering stabilizer. I was thinking of going with an upgraded front suspension, maybe more power, not really sure. I didn't buy my quad to do a whole lot of freestyle, but I do jump it from time to time. Just thought I would gauge some opinions on here.

if you want suspension the 450r stockers arent a bad idea if your tight on money.

id go wider also.

id also get nerf bars

I was thinking of the following options....

1. 450R shocks revalved for my weight and the iShock 2500 kit

2. iShock5500 kit which provides even better shocks, of course it would be valved correctly for my frame.

I plan on going with an HMF full exhaust and a stage 1 hotcam along with my already installed Uni filter and a rejet.

Nerf Bars I plan on buying soon, after I get some more safety equipment. Looking at the Pro Armors with the fat peg and heel guard in black.

nerf bars, heel guards and handle bars is really all you need, but, the more mods the better ;)

I was thinking more people would chime in. Is there any mods that would really be ideal for this. Just started building a jump, got the launch ready, now I need to finish the landing.
