My cousin has a 01' 400ex and when we went riding on Saturday he snapped his clutch cable. First of we were like no big deal we'll go get another one real quick and throw it on. While we were out in a field I pulled out his stock cable... Then me, wondering why it snapped I'm looking at everything and I get on it start it by trying to push the cluth shaft* peice forward that goes into the clutch case. I push it all the way forward and it feels normal but when it was fully dis-engaged the quad still jumped forward when I tried to start it.
Is that normal? Does the clutch cable do something different that I wouldnt be able to do by hand? I just want to ask you guys first before I pull the case off and see if something broke internally thats not letting it dis-engage...
Thanks ahead of time for you help. -Chad- :D
