wut ports? like exhaust ports?

maybe the cap u have on it too high a pressure, or ur overflow hose is clogged, because it shouldn't be pushing the hoses off...can u explain in a bit more detail?

Head gasket

Compression leaks past the head gasket and pressurizes the cooling system. Then gets out out at the weakest part ( 1998 radiator hoses and clamps )

makes sense, but i had a head gasket prob with my '86 rm and it never did that. it just burned all the coolant that leaked through the head, and boiled it out the overflow

depends on where the gasket blows. There are several different symptoms of a head gasket.

I agree with KHS426, it's pressurizing your system making it bleed off pressure at the weakest point.

hmm my 86 250 did that same thing, weird but yeah i dont see how thats possible the person i bought it from never noticed that problem, could it be a gas mixture problem? the gasket explains no power band when i run through gears

i think you missing the point thast a head gasket can let go at anytime, without warning. you have the symtom, seek a cure. no amount of chatting about it will get the fluids drained and head off to replace the gasket;)
