im looking for long travels shocks for my +1/2 housers. is tcs a good shock or is elka head and shoulders of it ? is tcs more like a works?

tcs will have a lot better valving but you have to go without rebound adjustment.

ya i agree with whoamack22, but overall if you get the alka's and get them valved right, you will have a more adjustable, and what i believe to be a better shock. i have em!

TCS hands down, unless you want to buy $1100 Elkas then have to ship them out to someone to revalve them for more money. It does suck a little that TCS doent have a rebound adjustment option, but unless you are an A Class racer or above, you wont miss it.

If you are an A Class racer, look into Ohlins, Axis, Fox, PEP or Motowoz anyway
