More power.....(big bore kit)

1.im thinking about getting a big bore kit (not any time soon) but i really dont no much about them......does anybody have one on there 450r......if so how much horsepower did u gain........
2. the other option is to just get my cylinder bored...like a 96mm or 97mm and get some pistons.....12:1 compression.....is that pretty much wht a big bore kit is......
3. does anybody have a stroker kit on there 450r....how much horsepower do u gain......
any information would be great....i dont no to much about this

from what ive read the bore kit and an effect on long term life on the motor, i dunno how much of this is true and how long do the consider a "long term" but like i said its just what i read.
