FCR's provide great throttle response. I've never had an FCR on my 450R...but I had one on my 2005 YFZ450 and it was very nice.

When putting a YFZ FCR Carb on your R, you will need a NOSS Adapter, and I don't believe the "Hot Start" Feature will wire up to the FCR Carb. I could be wrong.....but this is just what I've heard thru the grapevine...

how about the carb off the dirt bike version?, the dirt bike is kick start right? That way you can still use the hot start

Thats right the hotstart won't wire up to the yfz450 carb. I'd imagine the yzf450 carb would have it?
