Here is one of probably the nicest OEM carriers that you will still find out there. I rebuilt it with new bearings and seals a couple of years ago. It has always been my spare and had to use it once on a trip out of state.

i really dont know.....youd probably be best asking some of the real 400ex guys on here.

according to several eBay sellers, the 400ex and 250r carriers are identical and interchangable.
