having trouble

sup guys i have 01 400ex and i am having trouble tightening the castle nuts on the a-arms where they connect to the knuckle
the bolt on the a-arm just keeps spinning when i try and tighten the castle nuts

are you talking about the ball joints .......could it be time for new ones......stock a-arms dont have replaceable balljoint.

ur ball joint is probably fine ther should be a slot to put a 14mm (i think thats the size)wrench inbetween the spindle and the boot on the balljoint too hold it still....
