biggest fuel tank??

anyone know whats the biggest fuel tank for the 05? the ones i found arent much bigger than stock. Now even a full gallon bigger. I want the biggest one i can find... thanks

Clarke and IMS are the only companies making oversized gas tanks that I'm aware of. The IMS is 3.7 gallons, but looks more like the stock tank.

I remember back in the day when everyone had 400exs and I had to be different and buy the clarke 5.5gallon tank that replaced all the plastic, man that thing was huge, but you could ride forever

I was wanting one but heard it (IMS) rubbed the stock steering stem. Any truth?

man i loved my clarke 5.5 on the 400. i could ride forever in the desert.

Yes, it does. But, the part that hits the tank can be ground down to clear it.

True, it hits a bit, but you can sand it down easily to work. I run a plus 1 aftermarket stem and i have no problem..
