15 1/4 hours total in this baby (3 sittings). It's a Welding helmet with father in the top (The same welding helmet I bought my dad), and the Torch and the Mig Gun I brought into the shop to get copied, because it's the same exact ones he taught me on. He didn't die if that's what your thinking. He is just a big part of my life, and I will never forget that.

What do ya think?

Oh and yes, it was a coverup too.

It's one of the things I do.

Me and my dad are a father/son maintenance team at this place. We just pretty much keep it running. So welding, fabricating, electric, plumbing....Do it all.

Before it was just the 2 chinese symbols. Dumbest idea I ever had.

Get certified! I'm not certified, but I'm still going to go back and get it. We always hire a person with schooling and 5 years experience over someone with no school and 15 years experience.

Exactly. If you have proof that you have been trained on how to do something right, you are golden.

Wow 15 hrs. Nice Tat looks really good. Just seems like a long time for a Tat that size.

I agree there is no way it took 15 hrs. 6-7 hrs at most.

Oh it was 15 hours alright. I felt every minute. The guy is fairly new at this (about a year) and really takes his time. The outline was 4 hours, 6 for black shade and red, then 5 1/2 for the rest. He takes his time to get it right (charges by the piece, not by the hour).

And the size of the tattoo matters. I don't exactly have small arms. We put this stencil on my roomates arms, and it was pretty much a sleeve on him.
