help with welds in headpipe

ok i jsut posted something about grinding the welds out of my head pipe. i have no pactience so i went out and did it. i got the head pipe off and looked inside to see.......there were no welds. its completely smooth. i bought it new. its a 250ex. maybe they dont have welds. its off for now so if im just missin something please tell me.

ive heard some have them and some dont. i would imagine that it depends on the person the build theim and in what factory. i personally havent checked mine yet, cause as of now i dont have a garage to store a torn apart bike.
