what kinda gains??

i have a 06 outlaw with a hmf system,k&n drop in, and a 175 main. Ive ran into some money thought bout a 12:5:1 piston hot cams and port and polish what kinda of gains with just that stuff am i lookin at

I would say 8-10 at the wheels from were you are now.

You won't see 8-10 hp from those mods. Stock 06' Outlaw is 42hp. You might see 47-48hp with the mods your adding. Stock 06' Pred puts down 45hp. You loose that much thru the drive train on the outlaw. You will notice a difference and will be happy..Let us know how it runs after your done....

What compression is the Predators stock? I was thinkin they were 9-10:1...thats why I was sayin 8-10hp.

I think it's 10:1. 2 points on compression isn't going to give that gind of a gain. 12:5 compression is still pump gas and the most he will see is 2-3hp from compression.

Tranny, No. You are not adding enough power to do any harm. If you were pushing 55+hp then I would say you need a stronger Crank.

I have always seen in the automotive world about a 3% increase in power for every point of compression increase and with his porting(if done professionally) would give him about another 2-3rwhp. Thats what I gained with mine. but then again thats about 6rwhp if ya figure it lol.
