Is it worth it to go to a 55 leak on the '07 450r?? I have heard this both ways. I currently have a full DASA pipe and will soon have my Web 943/921 cam in. I notice a little hesitation when I punch it right now. It really isn't too bad though. What do you all think???

Kinda along the same line. What exactly does the leak jet control??

i'm not completly for sure, but i think it is the jet that controls the amount of fuel coming from the accelerator pump. not completly for sure on that one though. somebody correct me if i'm wrong!!

it does something along those lines... something to do with the accelerator pump. I just know that the smaller the number the more fuel that is being moved. I know that when i did the fcr mod to my 04' it had a stock 55 in it, and i changed it to a 42 and WOW! it made it way better.

I had the same problem with my 06'. But it didn't just hesitate . . . it would literally stall everytime I whacked the throttle. I installed a #55 leak jet and it cured this problem for good. I know some guys are running a #50 as well and they have had very good luck. So spend the extra $4 bucks and get a #50 just to be safe.

what main are you running, and what clip on your needle?? i put in a 162 main and run on the 4th clip down. i think it is way to rich on the needle and that could be part of my problem on the hesitation. i may change it tomorrow and see if that helps.

I seem to be having a problem with mine stalling only on up hill jumps or a jump that might throw me a bit side ways. Its like soon as I land and get back on the gas it will stall out like I ran out of gas. Do you guys think changing the leak jet could solve this. I really dont understand it but It runs great on any flat path but hit a up hill jump and it will cut out.

if you have a 06 or 07 you don't know what you are missing if you haven't changed your leak jet also a quick shot will help even more.

Could be a float height issue. Make sure it's set to spec.
