how do u get the headlight assemly apart..like ot take the lense out ..i am gunna put black tape in the headlight to make it black but can't get it apart with out destorying ut

i see the little tabs to get hte peice apart but it won't budge ....any ideas?

it is sealed, can't be done without having to reseal it...

I just put black electrical tape on the outsid and curved it to fit the light and it looks good. I have ridden the track on it twice and washed it and its still on.:)

Probably the same way you do car headlights. Heatgun warm up around the lenses where its glued. Dont melt the lense though! Eventually the lense should unglue off of the housing. Do what ever you have to do to the inside and reglue the lense to the housing. Some high strength epoxy and a lil silicone around the outside to seal it off good. Although there is always a chance that moisture will get into the headlight after you do this. But thats what they do to car headlights when they want to paint the inside of the healight housings colors etc. good luck
