This stuff works great, spray on cold motor one side at a time and blast clean with a pressure washer
P.S. follow the directions on the bottle carefully

Isn't that an acid?

an acidic wheel cleaner will work too. it will take some time and you may need to use a brush but it will come off with some work. try to avoid billet aluminum parts and such becuase it will turn those a white color. also, you will have some white residue whereever you spray it but it will wipe off with hand or within the next few times you wash the bike with soap and water.

Ditto, thats what I use.

My engine and nerfs were starting to turn yellow from riding in the pits even when cleaning it after every ride.
My friend gave me a bottle of simple green and now it looks brand new =)

Yeah, oven cleaner would be REAL safe to clean your motor with. I'm sure it'd clean it practically down to the bare metal!

how long did you let the eagle one soak on the motor for? did you scrub it at all or just spray it on and then wash it off? and pressure hose or regular hose? pics???:D

try greese lightning. if you get the big gallon bottle it comes in concentrate so you mix it to the strength you want. spray it on let it soak a little, scrub with like a toothbrush or something if you want it really clean and spray off. works awsome. made my 4 year old motor look brand new.

I'm not sure of the name but, truck shops sell a concentrated cleaner for aluminum semi trailers. It works wonderfully spray it on and wash it off, makes the engine looks new. But, don't get it on polished aluminum or it turns the metal white. That's the best stuff I have found yet for cleaning between the fins on air cooled engines.

The eagle 1 is an acid so I did not leave it on long. My cases were real dirty and it slowly is coming off. The next round i will use a brush between the fins and hard to reach places.

Just use acid, leave it for a couple seconds then rinse off, wear a mask...lol I do it all the time works perfect then spray it with WD40 or a dressing after...trust me ...
