It's Jan 6, and there has been no snow, no ice on the lakes and ponds, no frost in the ground, and it is now 63 degrees out in NH. In my 40 years, I can not remember when we have not gotten any snow this late in the year, and when we get little snow, the temps are usally very low and bitter cold. This year weather wise has been very wacky, but since I'm not a snowmobiler, I like it.:)

No, I can't believe this weather. But what can you do. Global warming has finally caught up with us, and up here we usually have some snow, or atleast some flurry activity. As of now, we have had bugger all. I don't know if winter's just late or it's not coming at all, but I'm a bit concerned. After all, it did snow in Austrailia where it hasn't snowed in 150 years!

It's VERY ODD weather . We have no snow , it was pouring rain this morning and the ground isn't even frozen . What makes it even more mind baffling , is that I saw a guy riding around on his Harley yesturday . In the 23 years I've been on this earth , this is truely the first time I can say I ever saw a motorcycle running around in January !!!!!!!

I saw a Harley running through town earlier this morning here.

What if we get to May and June and it's 20 degrees and dumping snow....

I'm kind of concerned as well, like dieselboy said...I don't really like snow, but this is NOT cool.

Well guys you could come town to northwest Texas, western OK or northeastern New Mexico and they are still feeling the effects of nearly three feet of snow combined with winds sustained of 50mph a week ago.

We average half that for an entire season.

Unfortunately, I missed out on all the snow, just got ice.
