i am running the .5 houser slicast a arms which are for an 05 and i was told that i can't run these with the 07 spindles because the had changed the spindles 3 degrees. I have the bike together and everything looks solid. Does anyone eles know about this ?

yeah houser says that it will bind at some point and can potentially break the balljoints. I would get the other spindles so that you don't have any issues in the future

i geuss i will but it sure does look fine and 3 degrees is hardly anything so i acn see how it would make a big diff. i appreciate your input!

They will not work. I emailed John Houser and asked him. Here is the email.

The spindle ball joint angles are about 3 degrees different. Since XC a-arms use most of the ball joint travel, we feel that most installations would not work. That's why we made different part #'s.
Thanks,
John Houser

06-07 brakes will not bolt on to 05 spindles. The mounts do not line up.

Why give false information??

The 06/07 breaks DO work - the 04/05 break caliper is the exact same as the 06/07 caliper. They even have the same Honda part number.

However you will need 04/05 hubs as well if you run the 04/05 spindles. You cant run 04/05 spindles with 06/07 hubs.
