Hard Shifting

I have an 06 LTR450 and noticed the last few rides it is getting harder to downshift into first gear. Change the oil and filter after each ride and get no signs of metal. Any idea's?

My guess would be, your clutch is dragging.

hard shifting caused from extreme hot tranny when riding hardcore!!! let it cool oftenly

I've ridden mine really hard and never had to let it cool often......

I recall my post!!! "It is not hard shifting that i experience after hardcore riding" instead "It is difficult to get it in 1st Gear or Nuteral"
