I installed a K&N air filter with not much result, my next move is exhaust, so which one is the best, worst, affordable etc.....

did you rejet the carb? open up the airbox?

get a Pro Circuit T-4 exhaust, it's up there for one of the best bang for your buck exhausts there is.

white brothers seem to be a popular choice with the ex's

get an exhaust either a t-4 or white bros, that will give you enough power to pull a 16t front sprocket. about the only things that will effect top speed are a bigger front sprocket, and smaller back, 22in tires,or a cdi

i would go with hmf, it gives great powergains across the board, i have ridden an ex with a white brothers and i liked it but, it felt like the power dropped off once it hit mid to high range

Wanna go faster, work out and practice all the time! Ask yourself what percentage of time do you spend with your throttle wide open while on the track?

hey mann go with any of the dg exhausts. i got a 300 with one. it showed me alot of power gain across the whole rpm range. i didnt even have to jet it. and if you like loudness youll like this pipe.

On a 300ex? Honestly... at least 50% of the time. ;) It's not like racing a 450. :D
