where do you guys order your shims from when you adjust your valves? Its for my z400 if it matters.....please help....

Your local shop should have them, I would guess. I don't know much about the shim and bucket type valves though.

You can find the hot cams shim kit on ebay for about $68. That's about the best deal you will find.

Ouch, I'd hate to do that every time I needed a valve adjustment...:rolleyes:

Its a whole kit that you get, it has a bunch of different shims in it and there are a couple of each size

That's not quite as bad, but I'm with †2005 400ex†, I'll stick with the rocker/push-rod valve train. :D
