450r jetting question

all stock.. just got a full alba racing pipe. wut should i jet it at. air box lid is on. i was thinking around a 180-185 main jet

Take the Air Box lid off completely and throw in a 175 main. That should be just about right on the money. I jetted my friends 05' last year. He's got an HMF Exhaust (by the way your ALBA was a much better choice). I did what I mentioned above and his machine pretty much rips the bars out of your hands.

Im not too sure with just a pipe and the lid on, cause its not very common to do, but your 180 suggestion is waaaay too high.

might wanna try posting in the 450r section since its where all the 450r gurus hang out.

Getting an answer on Jetting from the forums is hard though because there is so many variables. Try giving more info such as your elevation. Your best bet is getting a few different jets and start doing trial and error.
