Also I have a 1985 atc250r with a quadzilla 500 motor in it. I had to cut the lower frame rails and replace them with custom ones and I put a small ford heater core behind a hollowed out headlite bucket that ties into the stock atc250r split radiators and a custom intake manifold with a 39mm keihn carb off a cr500 and a custom pipe built by power pros in Los Angeles. I drove 450 miles and slept in their parking lot overnite so that they could build it for me (had an appointment) It has a west coast 4 inch over swingarm on it with revalved rear shock and forks. I love to ride my cr500 three wheeler it is an absolute rush, when you twist the throttle you swear you must have just hit the nitrous button, however my favorite 3 whlr to ride is the 1985 atc250r with the quadzilla 500 motor in it. Why ?, it has a counter balancer in it and I can ride all day... The cr500 3whlr can be ridden for about 30 mins and when I get back to camp I have to peel my fingers apart. Yes the cr500 3whlr vibrates. I am going to buy some new handle bars for the cr500 3whlr they are $300.00 but they have polymer shock/vibration absorbers that can be changed to different stiffnesses. I'll let you know how they work out. Good luck

I have to say, atc500r, I am building a atc250r, from a new custom made frame, using 450r pegs, rear master cylinder and brake pedal, no-link swingarm and next on the drawing board is custom tripples to use ktm 85 sx forks. I mx my trikes very hard, I regualy clear big jumps, double, and keep up with the quad guys.
