First off what kind of three wheeler is the doner ?. A 350x or atc250r.. If you have a 350x go high compression with a new cam adn if thats not enough put it on alcohol. If it's an atc250r (only a 1985 or 86) then go cr500.. I have a 1986 cr500 that has been converted to a three wheeler. This was done with a Laeger's manufacturing cr500 to 3 whlr conversion kit. I don't think they are available anymore.The basic kit came with a 12 inch over swingarm, custom triple tree to space out the cr500 forks so that you can run an atc250r front hub and wheel (I had to drill and tap the fork leg on the cr500 to accept an atc250r front axle. the kit also came with an aluminum adapter so that you could use the cr500 front brake. The kit also came with a custom subframe that bolts onto the cr500 frame with a smaller frame on top of it that an atc250r seat assembly bolts onto so that it can flip backwards so that you can kick start it(kick backwards) also came with a longer custom link for the cr500 rear shock linkage. My atc500r cost over 9000.00 to build it is not just violantly fast it looks good to
