300ex clutch help

well im putting a clutch in my buddys 300ex, and i got the side case and everything off, but i cant get that lock washer off the nut that holds it from backing off can anybody help me ive became agrivated with it...

did you un-stake it? It has a groove in it that locks into the shaft. Just make sure you get a new lock nut if you cant re-stake it when installation time comes.

how do i get it unstaked?

use a small punch or set. And use a hammer and tap it out.
