In just 15 days 2 U.S. Border Agent’s Ignacio Ramos and
Jose Compean are going to prison for doing their jobs! What happened was a illegal imegrant tried smuggling about 800 pounds of marijuana into the US near El Paso, Texas. The 2 U.S. Border agents were convicted and sentenced to 11 and 12 year prison terms for shooting a Mexican drug smuggler who had crossed our border illegally and physically assaulted one of the agents. Ignacio Ramos, one of the 2 men was a former nominee for border patrol agent of the Year.
RA members, these men were distinguished professionals--
family men who swore to protect our nation from drug
traffickers and criminals. Now their lives are in peril.
