How to install a grab bar on an old 400ex?

Doe anyone out there have any tips for altering the subframe to be able to use replacable grab bars?

All I can tell you is chop it and weld the brackets.

if you wanted to spend some money Lone Star sells an after market sub frame that allows you to attach a 250R grab to it.

all you have to do is cut it to where the new grab bar would fit, and if it will just slide it on and drill holes and put bolts in it. if that doesnt work then you can just weld it from there.
