need help asap bike running lean

ok i baught my 06 450er used a few weeks ago just road it at night for the first tie and my header is glowing red the first 3 inches, my bike has an uni filter ehs lid but was jetted correctly for these my real question is first of is it ok to race it in a haire scramble this weekend my exhaust is stock btw how do i fix it

ps if any one as a hmf sparks.dasa or rossier i will buy it for an 06****************************** i need htis prob fixed hellllllllpppp

Glowing header at night is normal.

thanks for the help man i was getting worried tahught i had my bike dialed for the race took it out n i was like oooooooo **** now i need an exhaust spent all y money on suspension

No problem. It's a common mistake....

The most popular pipes for the 06' R's right now seem to be the DASA and Rossier. Both are great full systems providing significant power gains. Other popular systems are HMF, RAGE, Yoshimura, and ESR.

i love teh dasa but it looks more mx i was probaly going hmf (i previosly race one on my ex and loved the low end power)
