I am kinda wanting a rc truck. I kinda want a gas powered one so I wont have to charge the battery. I am just looking for something to play around with, something like an all around truck to jump, do donuts, and just speed play. So what is an all around reliable and good priced truck for me???:D

thanks,
Cam

I have a traxxas stampede, it has a ton of ground clearance and it's actually a pretty good handling truck. My brothers rustler handles a ton better though. I like my stampede for just playing around in gravel and dirt doing wheelies and things, but if you want a good jumper and handler the rustler is the better of the two. They both share the same main chassis too.

I have a Team Losi NT XXX sport. Make sure you type this in right. It normally brings up porn if you don't :D . Ill try to get a picture. Its a great truck for a beginner the parts are carried at almost all LHS. Mine specializes in them so its pretty easy to get things. One thing get those little springs that hold the throttle back once the battery goes dead. They are also, almost impossible not to come-by used.(This not being because they are bad cars just because they are very common) I love mine and have had it for about 3 years no major problems. :D

Revos are good (2.5 or 3.3). They have a lot more travel and handle very well. There fun cars to drive. There not money pits if you take care of them.

.... i'll sell you my HPI nitro rush for $150. It's got the black SS motor, bunch of carbon fiber junk, silver chasis w/ custom aluminum brace, Dogde ram body, and some tires. I haven't messed w/ it in a LONG time. The front suspen support is broken on the right side, but it's an wasy fix. I just dont wanta mess w/ it. I have over 400 bucks in it.

depending on your price range...if your looking to take it on a mx track, a 4wd monster (revo, mgt, lst), buggy (kyosho seems to be the best) or a truggy (a buggy made into a monster) would be your best bet. the stadium trucks can be picked up cheaper (i recommend the rc10gt or xxx-nt) but they dont have all the ground clearance and being 2wd, they tend to kick around more on rougher stuff.

personally i have a mgt right now and it works great, picco powered, its set up to race right now and handling is amazing. i payed $200 shipped for mine and it was rtr (ready to run)

browse the rc forums for the right deal, those guys are trading or selling rc's all the time
