Is there any way to get the hi-polish back on a chromed surface? My LSR axle is pretty sandblasted and dull and would like it too shine again.

Get yourself some 0000 grade steel wool (finest) and some good chrome polish. Polish the axle with those two items and buff off the rest with a clean towel. You would be surprised how much junk the steel wool and polish removes ;)

One thing to say thats cheap. I did this on my blasters fmf pipe. SOS pad then once all the soap is ran out of it use diet coke mainly b/c its not sticky and polish away works lika charm. I did this on my trucks bumper too.
Edit:Wash the coke off afterwards duuuh:D

I thought chrome can't get polished, it already is a polished surface. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Its not really that you are "re-polishing" it, but rather removing the tarnish and other dirt that has collected on top of the original finish.
