I was about to load up my 400 today, noticed that my front left rim is bent in a bit(brand new .190 Douglas), and if that weren't enough, i noticed my left lower A-Arm is kinked, both bottom tubes, the front is cracked right ahead of the weld. Toys cost too much money...my axle's still bent just a bit too! Ain't that just a pisser??

My question is, can I buy just ONE a-arm for the lower left? I don't care if it's used or not-where would I find one? I checked e-bay but only found a full-used set starting at 80 bones.

Anyone ever bent a dented rim back in? I rode on this thing twice since the little tree stump incident that prolly caused it, never noticed, and the tire doesn't leak air.

Should I look for another single rim used, get one new off R.M., or just bend mine back in the best I can?

Thanks a lot for your help

You can get buy a single a-arm from your honda dealer, or service honda, or honda of troy, or a place like that, its like 50-70 dollars I think.

Anyone have any used arms that ya know of out there? I'll prolly end up getting a new one, but as long as the ball joint isn't worn, don't see reason why I need to spend big money on the deal.

**** nevermind, I just checked Service Honda, they have the whole left lower arm assembly, with the joints and all that for 36 bucks and some change...gonna order it up right now prolly...not bad I thought.

Thanks for your help though

How many inches is it from the shock mount on the lower a-arm to where it bolts on?
