Hotcam/valve adjustment??

Just installed a 416 big bore & a stage 2 hotcam.If the valves were properly adjusted with the stock cam.Do I need to re-adjust them for the hotcam??

Yes, if for no other reason just to doublecheck and make sure they are in spec.

Yes, they have different gap settings.

Should be some info with your cam....I think it is 5 thousands for the intake and 6 for the exhaust....Check your card that came with the cam though....

Ya,I forgot I had the hotcam box in the truck....luckily that info sheet was in there.I had to convert the metric #'s they give. Intake is .0051 and Exhaust is .0059. So that makes sense to what you thought they were!
Any tips on adjusting them....never did it before!
