does anyone bake their new pistons ?? i presume this is for stress releiving purposes ( the piston that is :D )much like the warm up cool down cycles you'd normally do ..

You probably wont find very many that say they do it, matter of fact some of the big name shops will tell you not to do it.
Why would they tell you not to, cause it makes the piston last longer & they cant sell as many if you do it.

I'll bake every piston that anyone wants me to just to make the R engine last longer & make those 4 stroke guys sick.

I bake all my pistons when I start my motor up. Please explain how this really helps.

I dont know about sending everybody the process steps, unless you build engines its no good to you other than knowing the benifits from it.

45,
Think of it as something like heat treating, why ??? heat treat a bolt or stud.
